How to Use a Dip Belt


Dip belts are used to train and develop your
core, chest, shoulders and arms. To add weight to the dip belt, unclip the chain and wrap the belt around your waist. Slip the chain through the hole in the center of
the weight plate, then re-clip the chain to the belt. Check that the chain is clipped properly before
training. Support the weight and chain as you slowly stand. Once standing, lower the weight plate to the full
extension of the chain. The weight plate should be suspended on the chain
and hanging between your legs. To use a dip belt on a dipping machine, grab
the bars with a knuckles-out grip and push yourself up into the starting position. Keep your back straight and arms fully extended. Lean slightly forward with your legs at a 90-degree
angle from the floor. inhale and lower yourself, bending at the elbows, using biceps to control
movement. Do not over-stretch. Press back up into your starting position
and exhale, pausing at the top on locked arms keeping your form in alignment Do four sets of eight.
