CPCC College Connection and CCP Programs

CPCC College Connection and CCP Programs

Are you considering Central Piedmont as
an option for your educational journey? Are you a junior or senior at a
Charlotte-Mecklenburg school? CPCC has a couple of different programs – Career and College Promise, and College Connection – to give you a head start on
your exciting journey towards a college degree! Are you a junior or senior in any
North Carolina high school? If so, you should consider the Career and College
promise program (CCP)! By taking classes in this program, you become dually enrolled. This means you earn college credit towards a certificate, diploma, two-year
or four-year degree while still enrolled in your high school! Students that are
dually enrolled receive high school and college credit for courses taken through
the program, and best of all, CCP classes are tuition free during the fall, spring
and summer semesters. Save time and money. College Connection is a program offered
only to seniors in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Different from the CCP program,
this program gives priority registration and personalized guidance to CMS seniors
in the enrollment process. Students can tailor their class schedule around home
and work; allowing flexibility for online or classes at any of the six convenient
CPCC campuses. If you are a senior in a CMS high school, take advantage of this
opportunity to select the classes you want and need before they fill up. And,
one of the best benefits of College Connection is you can register now and
pay later! Whether you’re considering the Career and College promise program, or
College Connection, CPCC has an academic pathway for you. If you want more
information about CPCC as a valuable educational option, contact us in the
Outreach and Recruitment office at 704-330-6637. Sign up for an informative campus tour, or you can just visit us on the central
campus in the Central High Building, Suite 212. We look forward to you
starting your educational journey with us at Central Piedmont Community College!
