Not dissing or anything but I feel like I’d destroy both these dudes and I’m an average CrossFit athlete

2 weightlifting exercises vs 1 calisthenics
bad form pullups – clear form pullups
10 kg heavier yet lifting the same weight
    Yet bodybuilder barely won.

Powerbuilders pull ups just weren’t up to par. If they wouldn’t of allowed those kipping pull ups it wouldn’t of even been close. Calisthenics guy took the gold in my eyes!

Matías is a 100% natural calisthenic and is really strong, he gave a very good fight, a good match

The Calisthenics guy won, the bodybuilder cheated on his pull up, some counted as a full while his chin did not get close to the bar….

If Matt would do such deadlifts couple of more times like this, he can say goodbye to his back! The second half I was scared for him! He did very wrong ! Not the way how it looks like he could have injured himself !!!!!!!

Can you all shut up? We can assume that they know the competition before entering into it. A winner is a winner

The tasks were biased towards powerbuilder. Calisthenics is not for pussies. You don't see too many guys signing up for it.

If the calisthenics guy loses everyone says "no fair, only 1/3 exercises was suited for calisthenics" But if calisthenics guy wins everyone gloats about calisthenics supposed carry over power. Self serving bias if you ask me.

I feel like the test was not relevent for a Calisthenics…….it was more benificial for the power builder.

They should've do core strength, and what the calisthenics do while they arms low while the legs are in the air for at least 3 or 5 mins long. Cause this competition was unfair. It's like the calisthenics dude went to the bodybuilders world but the bodybuilder didn't go through the calisthenics world, so the calisthenics dude won in my opinion.

11kg advantage to the powerlifting guy! Calisthenics guy was lifting the same weight with better form and keeping pace, that guy is a beast in my eyes Calisthenics guy is the way more stronger man

Both guys are BEASTS. Gotta hand it to the calisthenics guy though, he's a lot lighter and performing exercises he doesn't regularly train in and caught up.

I have one simple question to ask. Can a person manage both Gym workout or Callisthenics both combination of it.

This was totally bias, they miscounted the Matthias's reps for the last exercise, and they made the exercises two for powerbuilding and one for calisthenics.

They should have added pistal squats to make the competition more even…but powerlifting has a bigger community and would try hard to make the odds at their favor. Imo.

I do enjoy watching these but the exercises are clearly in the power lifters favour minus the weighted pull up, ask the power lifter to perform some of callisthenics exercises he won’t manage for sure 😉

calisthenics guy 10 kg under the other, lifting the same weight, and 2 exercises of weightlifting and 1 of calisthenics… obviously calisthenics guy won.

Why they didn't added some of core exercises like planche and front lever im pretty sur that powerbuilder will lose easily😉

this seemed kinda put against that Calisthenics in the fact that 2 of the 3 things were more body builder oriented, and both leg based, Calisthenics don't often have as strong of legs, it should've been 2 powerlifting/body building and 2 Calisthenics based exercises 2 upper body and 2 lower body but it is what it is

They re both good but they should do better. Im an amateur and fat guy but i can do the same except pull up (because of my weight. Im 98 kilograms). I ve trained for 3 months btw. However it was a good competition. As a Turk i supported both. I hope they will be stronger soon.

They should of did some calisthenics also, powerlifter wont stand a chance. But atleast calisthenics transfers over to other forms. Both dudes are beast tho

They should of downed the reps 25-30% and added a more advanced cali excersize as a 4th round. Then the cali guy would of smoked him easily on a less biased format. Not to mention the heavy weight parts were all legs so this competition was really trying to favor the power lifter but the much smaller cali athlete kept up very well. I give it to the cali guy. Even the playing field and he wins every time, even more so if the power lifting gears twards upper body vs just legs.

2 weightlifting vs 1 calisthenics exercise, this match is simply biased. Should've done 2 calisthenics exercise and sure that powerlifter will lose, its already apparent from those pull ups

Well, Chris Heria will beat Koray down for sure. Sorry Koray you cheated too much on this test, but u still wont win against Chris even if you cheat like how u did in this video

The match should stop at the end of the second round. I don't see much of a difference in terms of power between these guys. But this is not a fair game for the calisthenics guy. I don't think calisthenics lost but neither overbuilding won. At the end of the day, it's all about your preference of training methods, construction of your body, and muscle types.

La calestenia está en desventaja al competir contra el gym o los lifters o crossfiteros porque no están acostumbrados a levantar barras, lo ideal es que cada practicante de disciplina compita contra uno igual.
Pero si están entretenidos los vídeos jajaja
